- Debate Content: The questions, topics, and context you submit for debates, including any personal information you choose to include in your submissions
- Payment Information: Processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your full card details. We receive transaction confirmation and billing details
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, session duration, device type, browser type, IP address, and interaction patterns
- Technical Data: Browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and referring URLs
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the debate service
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Improve our AI models and service quality
- Analyze usage patterns and optimize user experience
- Communicate with you about your account, transactions, or service issues
- Enforce our Terms of Service and protect against misuse
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect or process data:

- Railway: Cloud hosting infrastructure
These third parties may process your data in countries outside your jurisdiction. By using our service, you consent to such transfers.
4. Public vs Private Debates
Private debates (default): Accessible only via a unique link. We still process and store this data, but it is not displayed publicly.
Public debates: If you choose to make a debate public, it may be displayed to other users and indexed by search engines. Do not include sensitive personal information in public debates.
Important: Regardless of privacy setting, debate content is sent to third-party AI providers for processing.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use the following types of cookies:
- Essential cookies: Required for site functionality (session management, security)
- Analytics cookies: PostHog tracking to understand usage patterns and improve the service
- Third-party cookies: Stripe may set cookies for payment processing and fraud prevention
You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may affect service functionality.
6. Data Retention
- Debate content: Stored indefinitely unless you request deletion
- Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required for tax and accounting purposes
- Analytics data: Retained for up to 2 years
- Server logs: Retained for up to 90 days

We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Secure cloud infrastructure with access controls
- Regular security updates and monitoring
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for breaches beyond our reasonable control.
